Office Chic

A perk of working at a jewelry store is that I can wear some fancy work ’fits. I will literally sit in my bed the night before work thinking about what I am going to wear the next day. Sometimes I will even plan my ’fits in advance because I get too excited about them. Ridiculous I know, but I'm a planner.

I usually go for outfits that make me feel young, but still look professional. Not to toot my own horn, but sometimes I make some fire ’fits that I am ~extremely~ proud of. One of those fits is my tight black denim dress that hits a little bit above the knee, with my long tan blazer. This outfit really comes together with the shoes. I wear my black custom Nike Airforce 1’s. On days where I want to feel more professional, I will throw on my Prada heels that I got off of The Real Real (a wonderful website I highly recommend for buying used designer items). The reason I love this outfit so much is because it keeps me feeling professional but it isn’t stuffy. It doesn’t take away from my ability to express myself.

Another go to is my white flowy pants that I am wearing on a recent BOS Instagram post. These pants are a staple in my closet because they’re so versatile. They’re from South Moon Under, but I am sure you can find a similar pair from other retailers. I love wearing white tops with these pants because I think all white is so chic, but with the amount of times I spill on myself it is a risky move. Nonetheless, I’d do anything for a cute ’fit. One of my favorite tops to wear with these pants is my tight ribbed black bodysuit. This makes the pants look a little bit more professional because the shirt is darker and has more of an edge to it. For shoes, I will usually wear my brown mini heels that have a tie around the ankle. These shoes are to die for, and honestly I don't even know where they are from, but if you find them, BUY them! Instead of trying to find all of the things I wear exactly and link them for you all, I am going to make some suggestions of new pieces that I want to purchase.

Start with a blazer. I think every girl needs a solid blazer in their closet. I recommend one like this because it can easily be worn to work, or styled for your plans beyond the office.

Next you must find some great pants. I realize that these are a very different pant from the ones that I mentioned above, BUT the reason I am including them is because I am, put simply, in love with them. These are such versatile pants that can go from the office, straight to dinner with the girls.

These Dior heels are the perfect professional vibe but can keep an outfit fun. They remind me of my own Prada heels and honestly with this price… You BOS babes should scoop them up!

XO’s
