The Women Behind the Fish Bag Sensation: Female Entrepreneurs in the Fashion Industry

In June, a dream was brought to life. Childhood friends Claudia Li Johnson and Gabby Kono-Abdy had just launched VIN, a vintage-inspired handbag brand, and the reaction from the fashion world would change their lives forever.

Since its founding, VIN has been featured in some of the fashion industry's most prestigious publications: Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Town & Country, Who What Wear, and Hypebae

The brand currently offers four distinctive bag styles — the Fishy, Sardine, Heirloom, and Betta — alongside six Fishy colorways: gold, silver, ruby, crystal, emerald, and tanzanite.
