3 Ways to Dress Up an Outfit - Without Changing Your Clothes

Think about it, you’re in bed — wearing comfortable clothes, thinking about how you have to squeeze yourself into an uncomfortable tight dress that requires sucking in your stomach for the entire night.  Now imagine wearing a more comfortable outfit. One that doesn't require you to worry about going through a long night in confining skirts or tops.

Don’t worry, ladies! You can easily dress up your outfit from dress to dinner without having to change your clothes! Just keep these three factors in mind as you’re dolling yourself up to instantly elevate any outfit.

1. Jewelry is a girl’s best friend

Remember ladies, glamour never takes a day off, and jewelry can always help finish your outfit with some final accent pieces. Be creative! You can choose to go for a cleaner look and make your outfit look more casual with one simple necklace, or throw on those spunky hoops and you are set.

One way that I love using jewelry to dress up my outfit is by wearing large, funky earrings paired with a simple tank top. It turns your outfit from casual to trendy in less than a minute! Don’t be afraid to have fun with mixing and matching different styles of jewelry — imagination is key.

2. So many shoes, but only two feet!

Sneakers or sandals? Low or high heels? Shoes are always something to think about when you are putting together your outfit for the day.

Pro tip: if the bottom of your outfit looks too casual — let’s say, shorts or joggers — you can throw on a cute pair of heels or stylish strappy stilettos to take your look up a notch!

Don’t be afraid to mix it up, shoes can speak louder than words. As they say, give a woman the right shoes, and she can conquer the world.

3. Let your hair do the talking.

The number of hair styles you can match with your outfits are endless. You can do a high-ponytail if you’re feeling like showing off your facial features and shoulders; or maybe going for a relaxed look by leaving your hair down. You can even put half of your hair up to make it look carefree, but polished at the same time. There are so many styles to choose from, so don’t be afraid to experiment!

My personal favorite is a low bun. I feel it does a really good job of making my outfit look more sophisticated in just a few seconds. Ladies, invest in your hair. It is a crown that you never take off.
