Olympic Attire

The Olympics are back, and with it comes incredible talent and fashion. So far, we have seen some amazing styles from the Opening Ceremony and various other events. These are my top five teams in terms of fashion so far this Olympics…

Team Haiti - Stella Jean

Stella Jean, by Italian-Haitian designer Stella Novarino, designed Team Haiti’s looks for the winter Olympics this year, and everything is on point. The color, the detail, the material, the shape? Pure art. The skirt is my favorite piece as it beautifully melds Haitian culture and couture.

Team Canada - Lululemon

Team Canada’s opening ceremony outfits have taken quite a bit of heat recently, with countless people online criticizing the product line. I, on the other hand, absolutely love these outfits. I especially love the maple leaf jacket; the unconventional shape of it and the colors are absolutely perfect… and this is coming from someone who strongly dislikes Lululemon.

Team Mongolia - Goyol Cashmere

Team Mongolia wore these absolutely stunning outfits during the opening ceremony and captured the spotlight. Goyol Cashmere's attention to detail was impeccable. I love the range of materials used as well.

Team Brazil - Moncler

Moncler’s look for Team Brazil might be my favorite. The fabric, the shape, the color contrast, everything is perfect. I especially love how the flag is on the inner part of the coat; it is such a fabulous detail. Moncler did an amazing job at capturing the spirit of Brazilian pride and the Winter Olympics.

Team USA - Ralph Lauren

Last, but not least: I absolutely love Ralph Lauren’s Team USA collaboration this year, and I think these outfits were incredibly classic. I am definitely biased in this pick because I am a huge fan of Ralph Lauren. The pattern used on the hat and sweater is perfect for the Winter Olympics. Ralph never misses.

I am beyond excited to see the closing ceremony outfits in motion on February 22nd. For now, go Team USA!!!
