Fenway Fits & Summer Sets: Your Style Guide to Summer 2026’s Boston Concerts

The music scene this summer is off the charts, and your outfits should be too.

The summer of 2026 is shaping up to be one of Boston’s most electric music seasons. Pop star powerhouses and country icons, including upcoming talent and household names, are all hitting Fenway, Gillette, and TD Garden. No matter who is at the top of your Spotify Wrapped, chances are one of your favorite artists is taking the stage.

Beyond the artist and the music itself, another ritual defines the concert experience: dressing up for it. If we are being honest, half the fun of the show is expressing your love and understanding of the music through what you wear.

Whether you already have tickets or are still refreshing Ticketmaster in hopes of a last-minute miracle (I am right there with you with Noah Kahan), now is the time to start planning. The top artists coming include Rüfüs Du Sol, Olivia Dean, Noah Kahan, Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, and Tim McGraw (joined by the Chicks!). They each bring their own vibe, some outfit choices are obvious: Bruno Mars (Gillette September 5&6) practically demands Versace, but for the ones that are a little harder - I am here to guide you!

Consider this your guide to the Boston music scene this summer. Here's the lowdown on what I would wear.

Rüfüs Du Sol:

If you want me… if you need me… You can find me at Rüfüs Du Sol at Fenway Park on June 23rd in this get-up. This Australian alternative dance and melodic house trio requires an outfit that is fit for sunset to sunrise.

I built this look around a perfectly worn-in pair of brown shorts and an airy lace poncho, channeling the effortless, festival-ready energy of a Rüfüs Du Sol crowd. To tie it together, I layered a brown bralette in the same shade as the pants to mimic a set effect.

These boots will take your outfit from fun to a statement. Tall boots have definitely been having their moment, and these buckle-effect Free People ones strike the perfect chord between carefree and elevated.

For concerts like these, accessories are the driving factor in the outfit. I started with this Free People sparkly cap, but any pashmina or head accessory would work, too. To pair with it, a good pair of sunnies is a non-negotiable at a “rave” type show like this.

To complete the look, I added a chunky belt, breaking up the outfit and adding a little more structure. Finally, for the bag (my favorite part), I chose this Isabel Marant Oskan Moon Bag, which ties it all together, but any boho-chic shoulder bag will complement the look perfectly.

Noah Kahan:

Noah is making his way back to Fenway Park this July 8, 9, 10, & 11th.

What makes dressing up for a Noah show fun is that you get to mix country and folk, both deeply rooted in a coastal New England undertone. Sticking to neutral, earthy tones is definitely the move for this event, picture nostalgia from growing up in New England granola (I see you local gals).

I would start with a classic white or denim skirt, or a baby doll dress like this one I pulled from J.Crew, for timeless New England summers.

From there, I would let the shoes do the talking. I love (!) these dusty blue Frye boots, I find they bring in a folk influence without going full cowboy. If you love these boots, but don't love the price tag, check out Frye & CO for a pair at a fraction of the price.

Continuing with earthy tones, I paired the look with Staud’s tried-and-true Ollie Bag in Hazel. You truly cannot go wrong with an Ollie. With a more understated outfit, I would use the accessories to tie in pieces that feel personal to his music. I chose a Jane Win tree pendant necklace, very stick season energy.

Finally, I tied in the color of the boots to this Paisley Bandana Bracelet and some other gold pieces from Gorjana to complete the look.

Tim McGraw (joined by the Chicks):

When you think of Tim McGraw, what do you think of? I know Taylor hopes you think of  “that little black dress”, but I personally think of something entirely more country.

Tim McGraw will be at Fenway on July 30th, and your outfit should feel classic country while still letting you make it your own.

All white is always going to be in in the summertime. I started with this lace top and paired it with a white jean skirt for a strong monochromatic base. To pull some of that country back into the outfit, I added a pair of polished, timely white Tecovas, while staying true to the aesthetic.

From there, keep things simple and cohesive. This perfectly sized Stoney Clover Lane bag ties in this blue (looking to be the color of the summer) Free People belt, adding detail without overwhelming the look.

Finally, add some accessories that match this girly yet country outfit, like a cowboy hat and some dainty gold jewelry to pull everything together!

Zac Brown Band:

A Zac Brown Band Concert calls for classic country styling, but with a twist. Be sure to break in your cowboy boots before August 2nd at Fenway Park.

Pair of jeans that fit just right? This summer, we’re elevating that to a denim jumper that fits just right. Denim is, obviously, a staple for Zac Brown Band, but this is your moment to spice it up and go beyond the expected: try a romper or a Canadian tuxedo, and play with different denim washes.

Forget your ticket; cowboy boots are required to get into the venue. Whether you're reaching for Tecovas or a more affordable Amazon find, the key is to find a perfectly worn-in, authentic feel. Stick to classic shades like black, brown, or a deep red for a timeless, authentic look.

Continuing to build the outfit, lean into accessories that amplify the country aesthetic. I pulled a statement belt to ground the look, paired with a bandana that can be styled around the neck or tied in your hair.

Tying everything together, I added a J.Crew shoulder bag that echoes the tones of the belt, along with a horseshoe bag charm. For a concert like this, it really is all in the details.

Olivia Dean:

If you have plans to attend the Olivia Dean tour this summer, be prepared to feel undeniably chic, dressed ready for a Saturday night or the rest of your life.

When I think of Olivia, I immediately think of long skirts, subtle flare, and elegance. I found this perfect silk midi skirt from Reformation that feels her vibe entirely and screams I am at an Olivia Dean concert.

I would pair it with a simple top. I chose a black tank top (this Tank Air one is perfect), but a tube top would work just as well.

Lean into the flare with lots of mixed-metal chunky jewelry, a long statement necklace, and this perfect sequined “Reef” bag from Staud. For shoes, you could go in two different directions, and you can’t go wrong with either. Pair the outfit with a good pair of boots (this is the direction she leans into), or these stylish flip-flop kitten heels.

Chris Stapleton:

If you want our outfit to be as smooth as “Tennessee Whisky” for Chris Stapleton at Fenway on August 14th & 15th, keep reading. His music is a perfect mix of modern and classic country, so your outfit should be too.

Start simple with a solid pair of jeans and a classic top. I chose a Ralph Lauren flag top to tap into his Americana vibe. From there, play with a statement piece to elevate the look. I love this brown suede jacket from Retrofete; it adds some movement and just the right amount of fun without overpowering the look. Shoe-wear should feel solid and timeless; a good pair of boots is essential. These Tecovas strike that perfect balance between polished and worn in.

Accessories are where you can bring in some of that modern edge. Contrast the classic cowboy look with a “cowboy hat” trucker hat, and a good mix of gold and brown jewelry.

To finish the look, you can never go wrong with a Polo ID bag in ANY color (okay, Americana again!!). It's the perfect size, the structure is effortless, and it elevates the entire outfit. I am especially drawn to it in brown for this outfit, it leans into the country color palette and feel, and is also a perfect addition to your closet for the rest of summer.

This summer’s concert lineup is more than just a series of shows; it's a full experience, and what you wear is part of it. Whether you’re dressing for folk nostalgia, country classics, or something more eccentric, the goal is the same: to feel your best in outfits you love and to feel like the best version of yourself while listening to the soundtracks of artists you love! See you at Fenway!
