Back in Town: Your PSL and Fall Wardrobe
As the leaves change color, it’s time to rotate closets. In previous years, we’ve seen everything from 70s-inspired denim to fur coats dominate the runway and leaf-covered streets. But this year has something else for you to pair with your pumpkin spice latte.
Designers have already set the tone for this season, and it’s a bold one. Versatile and wearable, anyone can incorporate these trends into their autumn “ootds”.
When done right, leopard print is the icon of the catwalk; Khaite designer Catherine Holstein agrees. For the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 show, she incorporates this fierce pattern into five looks. While the runway pieces are show-stopping, each individual garment can easily be worn out in the crisp air for a bit of extra fun. Paired with black, as Holstein has done, these pieces look chic yet make for an outfit that’s effortless to put together.

Boho-chic was all the rage this summer, embodying a carefree spirit with its whimsical laces and hobo bags. Now, picture Isabel Marant meets fall - this season brings country chic. Inspired by the English countryside - rolling hills and quaint cottages—wellies and organic hues will have you looking ready to stroll about the Cotswolds.
To keep it cold-weather friendly, we can ditch the maxi skirts and opt for layers of ruffles and trench coats. Thick outerwear, plaids, barn jackets, and sturdy denim that look perfect for farmhouse chores are exactly the vibe. No doubt, Burberry’s Fall 2025 line presents the perfect fall coats. The beloved European-born brand Zara has equally stylish autumn pieces that you shouldn’t overlook. And, as one does for the boho vibe, we can look to the trusty Anthropologie and Free People to do what they do best. One of my personal favorite brands, founded by rising lifestyle influencer Paige Lorenze, Dairy Boy’s fall jacket lineup is the epitome of this Fall’s lookbook.

Tactile richness and neutral colors—“simple” never fails to make the seasonal trend list. 2025 brings minimalism through muted tones and sleekness but adds a twist with a unique detail. The classic grey sweater becomes a vest paired with a belt of the same color and material. Isabel Marant transforms a chic pinstripe blazer into a jumpsuit and tie—all composed of the same fabric. Monochrome and mono-fabric outfits are so in.
