Miss Sohee: Renaissance of Gowns
Miss Sohee, a Korean designer brand created by Sohee Park, rose to Haute Couture designs in 2025. For Miss Sohee’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, Park curated Regency pieces with a touch of modern elegance. This year, Miss Sohee’s spring collection was presented at Paris Fashion Week, showcasing an art of tradition with contemporary elements.
The 2025 collection captures the beauty of ball gowns and Korean heritage—a simply breathtaking show. Here are the outstanding pieces:
A rebirth of a pink spring strode in the form of a lavish thin sheer dress. White and pink flowers bloomed throughout the length of the dress, perfectly blending in with the pink-ish nude sheer piece. The exceptional part of this look is the pearl headpiece, an homage to traditional Korean accessories.
A contrast of silver and aqua blue stuns on the catwalk. The eccentric dress distinguishes the look from the flowery, pastel theme. But the details of the beautiful cherry blossoms pleated on the trail of the cover re-establish the traditional sense of the line.
The model seems to appear in the form of a gold sea shell. The luminescent poofy covering and the sleek, skin-tight black/pink dress contrast with one another, but imbue a beautiful, classy look. The colour represents spring blossoms; the asymmetrical shape of the covering alludes to the deep ocean where sea shells flourish—the significance of nature.

Personally, I was stunned by the looks from the Spring/Summer 2024 collection. They add a touch of modernity and beaming colour to the Miss Sohee brand.
The purple corset paired with a sheer asymmetrical skirt is the core look of Miss Sohee. The corset pays homage to the Regency fashion tradition, while the beautifully pleated train celebrates the fusion of contemporary and Victorian styles.
The bright blood-red dress caught my eye straight away when looking through the collection. The off-shoulder with the poofy sleeves and the hanging loose cape attached to the front establish a sense of versatility, attaining a clean and unique look.
This collection sums up what young fashionistas would dream their gown collection would be like. The beautifully intoxicating colours, the trailing flowers, and the flamboyance of it all are the defining features of Miss Sohee.
