With the pandemic taking away the end of our spring semester, the beginning of our summer, and bringing unending sad news, the best thing we can do is to look forward to fun people, places, events, and, of course, outfits! That being said, going back to school in the fall is at the top of everyone’s list. With that comes the highlight of the fall: tailgate season.
It’s hard to find the words to describe the pure joy Boston College students feel during tailgate season. Whether a crowd is going to be permitted or not at next fall’s games, you can count on the students to celebrate the Eagles either way. The energy felt during those Saturdays is impeccable and documenting those days is vital for Instagram feeds and as momentos that will last a lifetime!
These days being surrounded by over 9,000 students and upwards of about 40,000 total fans, it’s easy to get lost in the sea of maroon and gold. You, reading this, can think back to a time last year you wore a classic maroon shirt from the bookstore that you cropped yourself with a pair of jeans and white sneakers. Now, that’s perfectly cute, but how many times are you and your friends going to wear essentially the same exact thing. If you’re tired of rotating through the classic tailgate outfits and vintage BC font shirts, I have just the outlet for you!
Two years ago I started a custom college clothing business with one of my best friends. Hey Girl Sticker Co. was created to be an outlet, a promotion of school spirit, and a source of tailgate fashion that makes people do a double-take. Every piece of our clothing is custom made, meaning you’ll be able to stand out in the sea of maroon and gold and get the cutest pics for your Instagram feed. You have at least six game day outfit selections in store for you this fall, and we are here to make that easier!
We use unique fonts and trends when making our designs and source various items of clothing that you can’t typically find in the BC bookstore such as cropped tanks, tube tops, and essentially anything the customer would want. Our clothes are a great way to keep the balance of a fashionable look and school spirit instead of choosing between a chunky BC T-shirt and cute white summer tank.
