REFY Beauty: Spotlight & Product Review
Dewy skincare and makeup have become more and more popular in the past few years. Amid the 2020 pandemic, UK-based model and influencer, Jess Hunt, released a makeup line called REFY Beauty. Their products have since caught the eyes of many on social media through their sleek packaging and influencer TikToks and reels. But are these products worth spending your money on?
The brand is focused on natural beauty. Their products are inclusive so that all of their customers can best enhance their natural beauty. Each product is designed so that it does not overtake the face, yet still provides the dewy look that customers seek. The brand is also vegan and cruelty-free, which is important to look for, especially when a product takes off on social media. Investing in good products for your skin is essential.
The packaging ultimately drew me to this brand. I had heard good things about their brow products, but it wasn’t until I saw their primer used in an Instagram reel that I was influenced to purchase. I really liked the simplicity of their packaging, which translates into the simplicity of their products. I didn’t feel overwhelmed, as I sometimes do when buying new makeup, and I felt that the products were easy to use. I purchased the Skin Finish, Cream Bronzer, Brow Sculpt, Lip Sculpt, Gloss Highlighter, and Beauty Sponge to try out.
My Review:
Skin Finish: This is meant to be put on as a finishing touch to makeup, quoted “to make your skin feel like skin.” It feels hydrating upon application and useful for when I do a bit more of a glam look. It keeps the finish less cakey.
Cream Bronzer: I absolutely love this product. My friend actually asked me how I looked so tan and I completely attribute it to this product! It’s a creamy texture that is blendable and natural-looking, while also adding some extra color, which is especially beneficial in the winter months. I use the beauty sponge with this product, which I’m not completely sure is its intended use, but it works for me!
Brow Sculpt: Love, love, love. My brows are so light so I use the Kosas Tinted Brow Gel in addition to this product, but the Refy Brow Sculpt lifts and laminates my brows perfectly. It also lasts all day and has a built-in brush, which is a definite plus.
Lip Sculpt: I needed a new lip liner and for whatever reason wanted this specific one (probably because of the packaging), but it’s honestly so good. It’s double-sided, with one end being a liner and the other a matte setting formula, which keeps the liner in place all day. I like to use this on the days I do a lip color, as well, because it ensures that the color doesn’t rub off.
Gloss Highlighter: Again, love! I have been using the Glossier Highlighter since my freshman year of high school, but this product has forced me to make a switch! It’s dewy, it’s light, and it provides the perfect glow - what more could you ask for?
I have no bad things to say about this brand and I fully support their products and company mission. The brand is inclusive and focuses on enhancing natural beauty, proving their authenticity as a brand. REFY Beauty is definitely a brand to keep in mind if you’re looking to test out some new makeup products!
