Makeup Palettes: Lindsay’s Favorites

1. Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette

Coming in at #1 we have the Becca X Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette. I swear by this palette. It makes my skin look so dewy and bronzed whenever I use it. I contour with the bronzer and mix the pink and bronze highlighters for a peachy glow on my cheeks. The blush is a little dark for me unless I apply lightly, or when I have a tan, but this is by far one of my favorite makeup purchases. Definitely recommend any Becca palette based on the quality of this one! (Also, look how pretty the packaging is!)

2. Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette

The shades in this palette are perfection. It is the perfect mix of neutrals, colors, and sparkle. For natural looks, I use “So Boujee,” “Cocoa Truffle,” and “Rollin’ In Dough.” For fun or bolder looks, I use “New Money,” “Livin’ Lavish,” or “Money Bags.” These are pretty dark, so I tend to use them as eyeliner on the lids or for a smudged under-eye pop. My absolute favorites in this palette are “Rich Girl,” “Gold Dipped,” and “Chocolate Gold.” The sparkles show up so well and are my go-to’s for going out. Overall, cannot recommend this palette enough because it covers all the bases. AND, it smells like chocolate!

3. Urban Decay Naked Palette

I think this might’ve been every girls’ first makeup palette, but I still use mine and love her. I normally use the five colors on the left, but I’ve always loved this palette for natural looks or a brown smokey eye.

4. Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette

I recently got this palette, so I haven’t made a dent yet. The palette is soooo pretty though! I was a little intimidated at first because of all the bold colors, but it’s perfect for trending looks. I’ve been really into the powdered eyeliner look recently, and the pinks, reds, and purples are perfect for this. The neutral pinks are also great for an everyday neutral look!

5. Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic Eyeshadow Palette

The pigment in these shadows is amazing. They show up so well, and are perfect for that color pop look I’ve been referencing. It used to have a super pretty royal blue, which broke from overuse (sadly). This palette is in the color “Smartorial.” This specific palette is sold out, but there are lots of other color options online and the shadows are great quality.

6. KVD Alchemist Holographic Palette

This palette has subtle green, blue, purple, and pink highlighters. I normally mix all four together for my highlighter, and it makes a really pretty iridescent color. I also use these as eyeshadow, or to brighten the inner corner of my eyes. (Had to do a swatch to show how pretty!)

7. NARS Virtual Domination Cheek Palette

I could not find this palette anywhere, but I have to rave over the colors. NARS is known for their laguna bronzer and blushes, and this palette has both! As you can see the Laguna bronzer has a huge dent in it because I love this product. The blushes are pretty, but the highlight is a little disappointing. This was my go-to before the Becca X Chrissy Teigen palette came into my life, but I still use the bronzer and blushes occasionally and definitely recommend NARS face palettes.
